English language is important in terms of the economic, political and social issues. English is the most spoken language in the world, with an estimated 1,500 million speakers over the world. This BA programme’s introductory modules look at topics like how our language changes according to the context in which it is being used, how men's and women's language use differs, how to have thelanguage acquisition and how and why it continues to evolve.
